Why people have several careers

Nowadays it is known that people develop several careers or ways to earn money over the years. People do that because they want to adapt to the changing times and technology or they want to be flexible and to find jobs easily. But there is another important reason why people develop several careers: they want to fallow their passions and hobbies. There's no wonder that the idea of having a single career is becoming an old fashioned one.

We live in a modern world and we are facing changing times. Throughout the middle of the twentieth century the technology has changed in a dramatic way. For example when the computer developed and it was introduced in all the aspects of business life, people like my mother had to learn how to use it for keeping their jobs. If the people want to keep a job or to find a good job they have to be up to date with the changing technology.

Another reason why people develop several careers is because they want to be flexible and to find jobs easily. Nowadays the job market is very diverse. Due to changing times there were created many new job positions. In order to apply for those positions people need qualifications. That's why the further education process is something that may continue throughout one's life.

People nowadays want to do a job that fit them. They have passions and hobbies. The challenging thing is that there is the possibility to earn money using your hobbies and passions. For example, John - a friend of mine is working in a hospital. But he has a passion. He likes very much photography. He attended photography classes and gained extra qualifications. Also he bought a professional camera, software and other things he uses for his photos. At present he is a professional photographer and he earns extra money. In his free time he works as a photographer.

We saw that people develop several careers because they have to adapt to the changing times or technologies, because they want to find jobs easily and because they have passions and hobbies they want to follow. That's why the new fashion is to have several careers and ways to earn money.

Why do news editors decide to broadcast bad news?

There are many ways to be up to date with the news nowadays. News are broadcasted on television, on radio, are presented in web sites on Internet and printed in magazines or newspapers. News is everywhere. When the news editors decide what to broadcast they want to sell. They search for news that will draw people's attention. They want great, extraordinary news. Because the human nature is emphatic people pay attention at bad news like disasters, crimes, crises or accidents. Even if news is not so tragic it is presented in a bad way because they want to sell.

Most of the television channels are addressed to the ordinary people. Because the ordinary people are sometimes bored and tired to think, the television gives them some adrenaline and catch their attention with disastrous, tragic, devastating bad news. People may think they are used with such news but they have subtle effect on people's mental. Bad news make people to be pessimistic, concerned and anxious.

In conclusion, if you want to protect against the bad news and their evil influence you must be very selective.

Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?

Everybody knows that the resources are not properly managed in the world. There are huge differences between rich and poor countries. Wealthy nations should be required to share their wealth among poorer nations because: we live in a global system which should be equilibrated, we are all human beings so we have to be unselfish and we have the moral responsibility to help other people.

Because we live in a global system, the unequal administration of resources may produce disequilibrium. The developed countries became more and more rich and the undeveloped countries became poorer. The undeveloped countries cannot afford a high standard system of education. Moreover, some countries are so poor that the people can't feed. These things cause dissatisfaction, frustration and revolt in poor countries.

Another reason why the rich countries should help the poor ones is because there is a moral responsibility. It is moral for people to manifest empathy, kindness and understanding.
We are all human beings and our meaning is to help each other.

As has been shown, the wealthy nations have a responsibility to help the poor nations. If this thing is done, the world's political system would be equilibrated, the undeveloped countries' children would have a better future and the world would be a better one.
